Search Text in Images

Extract Text from Images

Consider the following image as an example.

When this image is uploaded to an article in the knowledge base, PHPKB will perform OCR on the image to detect any text on it and add it to the search index. In the example image above, PHPKB will detect the following text.

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

Now, this text is added to the knowledge base search index so that it can be searched by knowledge base users.

Multi-Language OCR Support
