The pricing and licensing structure of PHPKB knowledge base software is determined by the number of required admin user accounts. An admin user is defined as an individual who can access the admin area, create or manage articles, and perform roles such as Writer (Author), Editor, or Superuser. The licensing agreement restricts the number of admin users (staff logins) that may be created for the purpose of accessing and updating the knowledge base. However, there are no limitations on the number of end-users permitted to access the public area of the knowledge base.
